Let a, b and c be three odd numbers

We know that sum of two odd number is even

=> ( a + b) is even

And sum of an odd number and an even number is odd.

=> ( a + b) + c is odd.

So, it is not possible

No , the sum of any three consecutive Odd numbers can never be an Even number . In fact any three odd numbers whether consecutive or not will never sum upto Even numbers .

Example : {1+3+5= 9 , 9+11+13=23 }Consecutive ,

{1+5+7= 13 , 7+5+13= 25 , 39+21+11= 71 }Non Consecutive .

So we never get Sum of Odd numbers of Odd number as even .

Hope this would be quite easy for you .
