The value of sin theta cannot be greater than 1.

Since,

 \sin(theta)  =  \frac{perpendicular}{hypotenuse}

Hypotenuse is the longest side in a right angled triangle.

Now, 5/4 is = 1.25 which is greater than 1 .

Therefore sin theta can't be 5/4.

Hope it helps.
