Can there be acceleration with zero velocity? Justify.

yes.......

when a ball is thrown upwards, its velocity is zero at the top most point but acceleration is not zero... it's g downwards

maximum height at one point and comes to rest

for a very small time in air .when this happens

the velocity of object becomes zero but it undergoes acceleration due to gravity.
