Can there be displacement of an object in the absence of any force acting on it? pls explain how?

No there will be no displacement when force not takes place because if we apply force on a particular object the object tendons to move due to the force applied. Hence work is done only when displacement and force is applied..★★★

In absence of net force,the body is in motion remain in motion (law of inertia).
when net force is Zero then distance covered by body is equal to its displacement
when net force is Zero then distance covered by body is equal to its displacement
