have come asross a website that sells a silver-plated copper rod or anode. They say when it is placed in your pool water there is a small electric current that flows between the two metals and this releases copper and silver ions into the water. I sell a system that uses two anodes that release ions when an electric charge is applied to them. I don't believe that this reaction can occur without electricity?
