can there be frictional force between two surfaces when there is no relative motion between the two? give an example to illustrate your answer.

No there can't be frictional force.........

Ex-an aeroplane is flying in air it is in motion but it doesn't have any contact with the earth surface and hense,there is no frictional force.

Yes frictional force exits between two surfaces when their is no relative motion between the two. The friction provided will act as resistance between them.
