Gases can have impurities . Impurities in gases can cause mistakes in experiments but corrode our bodies less than pure gases if we inhale it by mistake. As we all know elements become more reactive when hot so they r quite reactive as they r in gaseous form ( hottest ) so they can surely have impurities. But gases like neon, argon etc. r very inert but halogens eg. fluorine is very corrosive and react with all elements except helium . Hope it helps
