Ahoy user!!
The answer to your query,
In my opinion I don't think time travel is possible or formation of time machine is ever gonna happen in the future.
*It's just a simple logic which is think ok*:-P
As even if time machine get formed even in future then the people from future must come here in present but we don't see anything like that in present..
hope this helps!

I'll say time travel certainly is possible.
Time is the 4th dimension, and since we can move in the first three, there's no reason why we can't move in the fourth.
However, the most we should do is witness the past. That's it.
Changing the past can lead to severe consequences in the present.
Here's a little example.
In World War I, although Italy was on the winning side, it didn't gain much through the Treaty of Versailles. It turned to dictatorship and led to World War II. Suppose someone changed the timeline such that Italy got more benefits from the Treaty. It would be very, very bad, because Dictatorship was already rising, and with the extra resources, Italy and Germany could wage war AND probably even win.
So we would now be under dictatorship instead of democracy.
This is probably why even if the time machine has been invented in the future, nobody has come to the past. One really cannot know what little change in the past will totally alter the future, and ita better to be safe.
