Yes it will, any object gets a shadow when it is opaque or translucent in nature. A transparent object will not create any shadow, as light will pass straight through the object, but such transparent objects do not allow all the light to pass through them. But they still interact with light through refraction.

Photons(light) interact with an object by some combination of reflection, absorption and transmission. Some materials, such as plate glass and clean water, transmit much of the light that falls on them and reflect little of it; such materials i will say optically transparent and are not completely tranparent.
