The key difference between formula mass and molar mass is that, the formula mass of a molecule or a compound is the sum of the atomic weights of the atoms in its empirical formula while molar mass is the mass in grams of 1 mol of substance.
When two compounds contain the same elements in the same proportions but with different structures, these materials are called "isomers." If compounds A and B are isomers, a molecule of A and a molecule of B contain the same number of atoms of each type, but the bonds connecting these atoms are arranged differently
