Hcf - higjest common factor

for two numbers , their hcf is the largest no. which divides both

Lcm - least common factor

for two numbers their lcm is the smallest no. which multiply both

now, hcf divides both numbers and both number perfectly divides lcm

in other words, Lcm ÷ Hcf remainder must be zero

here, Lcm = 250

Hcf = 25

clearly 250/15 = 16.67 (remainder not zero)

thus, there do not exist numbers whose hcf is 15 and lcm is 250
