To check u can do:-
HCF ×LCM = a×b
380 ×18 = a×b
6840 = a× b
NOW FROM THIS ....
Let a = 6840-b
•°• 6840= (6840-b)×b
6840 = 6840b-b²
b²-6840b+ 6840=0
As it is like a quadratic equation....
so, now just solve this and find the values of a and b....
