no they cant hear because sound needs a medium to propogate as there is no atmosphere hence it does not have medium for the propogating waves

no. two people cannot hear one another on moon. this is because for sound to propagate, or travel, medium is necessary. on earth, this medium is atmosphere. but, on moon, there is absence of atmosphere, and thus, absence of medium. absence of medium means cpvacuum, and sound cannot travel through vacuum . hope it helps
