Answer:

Present age of father is 33 years and present age of his son is 10 years.

Step-by-step explanation:

Let the age of the father be x years and the age of son be y years.

Now, According to question,

Age of father=3+3(Son's age)

x=3+3y ------(1)

Now, Three year hence,

Age of father=x+3

Age of son=y+3

According to question,

Age of father=10+2(son's age)

x+3=10+2(y+3)

x+3=10+2y+6

x+3=16+2y

x-2y=16-3

x-2y=13

Putting value of x from equation (1), we get

3+3y-2y=13

y=13-3

y=10

From equation (1), we get

x=3+3y

x=3+3×10

x=3+30

x=33

Answer:

father: 33 son: 10

Step-by-step explanation:

let father age be x & son's a few be y

by first condition

3+3y = x (three plus three times age of son is father age)

by second condition

x + 3y = 2 (y+3)+10

so the final two equation are:

x-3y = 3..........(1)

x-2y = 13........(2)

solving them we get

y = 10 , x = 33

so the father present age is 33 and son age is 10
