it's multiple fission
it is dividing the nucleus in many parts and forming a chrolopast for each in unfavorable conditions. and they are freed and thus produce many individuals
one example is plasmodium in which multiple fission occurs

Multiple fission also known as binary fission is the most common method of reproduction in single celled organisms. Example: amoeba, paramecium, etc. In amoeba, it results in the division of the parent amoeba into two daughter amoebae. First the nucleus divides into two, followed by the division of the cytoplasm and then, the two offsprings separate and live as new individuals.
