Yes, Atomic mass and mass number are the one and only same thing!!
When we talkin about mass number, we refer yo the mass of that atom, i.e. the mass number!!

nikhil5212: mass number is number of protons and neutrons in a atom.in amu atomic mass unit .atomic mass is average mass of all the isotopes of a certain type .it is weighted average that takes into account the abundance of all the different isotopes and atomic mass and number

not same because in atomic mass the value is in decimal and have unit 'u' but in mass no. we take round of and have no unit. And their formula are different
