Silk Route was one of the oldest way that helped in the spread of globalisation. Silk route was mainly used for transporting Silk Goods, And Chinese goods from southwest China to countries like India northern Africa anf souther parts of europe.
So This was also not a one way trading route. Various Spices, precious metals like gold and silver also flowed form America and europe to china alongwith this trade route.
Also there was not only trading of goods but also silk route accompanied Exchange of ideas and Culture and migration of people.
Hence the features and importance of this trade route was the reason of its spreading all over the world.
