\textbf{Upthrust or buoyancy } is the force exerted by a liquid on a body which is immersed in the liquid is known as upthrust or buoyant force.

It depends on size or volume of the body immersed in a liquid also in the density of the liquid in which the both is immersed.

\textbf{Thrust}is actually the total force exerted by the body perpendicular to the surface.
