Air pollution affects plants by destroying the leaves of plants as pollutants like sulphur dioxide, nitrogen oxide and ozone enters the leaves through pores.
Air pollution can cause breathing problems and eye, throat, skin irritation and various other respiratory disorders.
Ways to spread awaeness:
1. Using cleaner fuels like CNG and LPG in vehicles.
2. Avoiding using private vehicle and instead going by public transport will greatly reduce air pollution.
3. For family owned vehicle a regular pollution check is must.
4. By avoiding burning of plastics and planting more trees.
5. Decreased use of air-conditioners and refrigerators to prevent release of CFC’s.

2) Death of aquatic plants and organisms.
3) Destruction of food chains.

If the vegetation that provides food and shelter to the animals is destroyed, wild lives will definitely die.Pesticides that are applied to the crops may contaminate the grains that are consumed by the animals. These pesticides indirectly cause harm to the animals.The grasses that are grown upon polluted soil become poisonous for the grazing animals.The washed away pesticides also contaminate the water flow upon which the animals are dependent to fulfill their thirst.The polythene bags that are left away on lands may be swallowed by animals like cow, buffalo or goat. These non biodegradable materials may obstruct their food canal resulting in death of animals.
