Can u please differentiate between speed and velocity along with convincing examples

velocity have the direction where as speed doesn't...for eg if you are moving at 4 m/s then that is speed..but when it is said you are moving at 4m/s in north direction then it is velocity 

note:whenever direction changes velocity also changes but it is not in the case of speed
