(cot theta +cosec theta)²=1.5²

cot²theta+cosec²theta +2cot theta cosec theta = 2.25

by using formula

cot²theta = cosec²theta -1

cosec²theta -1+cosec²theta +2cot theta cosec theta = 2.25

2cosec²theta +2cot theta cosec theta = 2.25+1 = 3.25

1/sin²theta. + cos theta/sin²theta = 3.25/2

(1+cos theta)/sin²theta = 1.625

(1+cos theta )/(1-cos²theta) = 1.625

1/(1-cos theta) = 1.625

1/1.625 = 1-cos theta

cos theta = 1- 1/1.625

cos theta = 0.625/1.625

cos theta = 625/1625 = 25/65

cos theta = 5/13

hence proved
