Question:-

11)Find the length of the side of a square whose area is 4489 sq. cm.

Solution:-

Given,

Area of Square = 4489 sq. cm.

We have,

Area of the square

 =  {(side)}^{2}

Let side of square = x

Then,

 {x}^{2}  = 4489

Transport (square) to RHS it becomes square root

x =  \sqrt{4489}

x =  \sqrt{67 \times 67}

x = 67

Therefore, Side of square = 67 cm

Question:-

12) How many numbers lie between the squares of 25 and 26

Solution:-

We know that,

 {25}^{2}  = 625

And

 {26}^{2}  = 676

No. of natural numbers lie between 625 and 676 is

676 - 625 = 51

So, 51 natural numbers lie between 625 and 676

Extra information:-

The number of natural numbers lie between 625 and 676 is 51

But there are other numbers called rational numbers whose number is infinite
