Amphibians: 1. They can live on both land and

water by breathing there.

2. The exoskeleton is absent in amphibians. Their skin is soft , slim and moist

3.Body is divided into head and trunk. Neck is absent.

4. The respiration is by lungs when on land and by skin when in water. The larvae breath by gills.

5. Their is external fertilization at the time of sexual reproduction.

6. The digits do not have claws.

e.g. Frog, Toad , Salamander, etc.

Reptilia: 1. Reptalians are terrestrial animals. Though turtle and sea snake can live in water, they cannot breath in water.

2. The exoskeleton is in the fo of skales. Some animals have plates and scutes ( e.g.tortise and crocodile)

3. Body is divided into head, neck and trunk.

4. Respiration is only by lungs.

5. Their is internal fertilization at the time of sexual reproduction.

6. Digits have claws.

e.g. Tortoise , Lizard and Snake , etc.
