here,

let the ratio 5:7 be 5x and 7x respectively,

now,

according to question,

(5x+7):(7x+7)=11:15

or,(5x+7)/(7x+7)=11/15

or,15(5x+7)=11(7x+7)

or,75x+105=77x+77

or,105-77=77x-75x

or,2x=28

or,x=28/2

∴ x=14

so,

5x=5×14  =70

7x=7×14   =98

Hence, the numbers are 70 and 98.
