The most unique character of MSD is his Simplicity. He traveled in train while going for Vijay Hazare Domestic tournament with his Jharkhand state team players to spend time with them and to know them very well. He stayed in CAB Academy with his fellow teammates in Kalyani. No starry tantrums.

Keeping head cool in tough situation is a unique character because I can’t remember even a single captain who was as cool as Mahi.

Motivating newcomers and giving confidenceto get their best out of them. Every captain should do this and its not so unique about it but Mahi is best in the business when it comes to manage new guys.
