Answer:

1: Let the lowest Mark's be = x

A.T.Q

2x + 7 = 87

2x = 87 - 7 = 80

x 80 ÷ 2 = 40

Lowest Mark's = x = 40

2: Let the base angles be x° each

Vertex angle = 40 °

x + x + 40 = 180 ( Angle Sum Property )

2x = 180 - 40

2x = 140

x = 140 ÷ 2 = 70 °

So , each base angle = 70

3: Let the runs scored by rahul be x

So, Runs scored by Sachin = 2x

A.T.Q

2x + x = 200 - 2

3x = 198

x = 198 ÷ 3 = 66

Runs scored by Rahul = x = 66

Runs scored by Sachin = 2x = 2×66 =132

Answer:

1 a) Ans : Lowest mark is 40

b) Ans: Base Angles are of 70 degree each

Explanation: 1a)

Let x be the lowest mark

Hence Highest marks in the class is 2x+7

As per input, 2x+7 = 87

Hence 2x = 80

Hence X = 40 ANS:

Explanation: 1 b)

Let the each base angle is x

As the vertex of the isoseles triange is 40 degree

Hence the total of the 2 base angles are = (180 - 40) degree = 140 Degree

As base angles of isoseles angles are equal, by adding up i.e . 2x = 140 degree

Hence each of the base angle is 70 degree.

Explanation: 1 c)

Let presume Rahul scored x runs

Sachin hence scored 2x runs

As per provided information : 2x+x= 200-2 = 198

Hence 3x = 198

X = 198/3 = 66

Hence Rahul's score was = 66 Runs

Sachin's score was = 66x2= 132 Runs
