#1st of all what is underpopulated country...

⇒underpopulated country - having a lower population density than normal or desirable;

example---:-Australia is an underpopulated country. Australia is the worlds smallest content and the sixth largest country with the lowest population density in the world, only 2 people per a km².

 Now ur next question--:-Can underpopulated countries support a larger population without reducing the standard of living of current population.

Ans--:- I said , BIG  YES   Mauritius a low populated country can support india a well populated country by supplying grains through exportation and transportation....if they do this the people of  Mauritius also earn money by exporting grains to india.so the people of  Mauritius living standard also will improve....thats a benifit of underpopulated country for populating countries....
