In the same way that death cures most diseases. The worst possible way to solve conflict is to think it needs to be solved. i.e. not respecting that others may have a different view from us.

Conflict doesn't necessarily have to become competition or combat, but it often does when egos are involved

In the annals of history there are always winners and losers But finding a resolution is a harder object. It must always be considered; Not now but in the future. The French (allies) humiliated the Germans in WW1. Only two decades later the Germans were goose-stepping in Paris. After conquering most of Europe and the landlocked Asia, the Mongols, their wars ended their reign holding only desert. Many wars are not ideological but rather they are religious. That conflict will continue unless you kill or convert the losers. History has shown this does not work well. One only has to look at the Middle East. Muslims vs Christians; Christians vs. Jews; Sunni vs. Shia; Catholics vs. Protestants; Orthodox vs Roman Catholics. All have engaged in conflict somewhere. So. the answer is winning a battle is easy. Winning their hearts and minds is a far, far more difficult task.

So,it's completely wrong that war can solve every conlift...
