In a triangle, the sum of two sides is always greater than the third side.



[] Coming to the question,

First side, a = 4 cm

Second side, b = 4 cm

Third side, c = 8 cm



[] Now, sum of two sides must be greater than third side.


[] First condition -

a + b > c

=> 4 + 4 = 8,

• Since the sum of two sides is equal to third side, the condition doesn't match.


[] Since, the condition doesn't match in the first condition, we wouldn't consider any other condition.


•°• No triangle can be constructed with sides 4 cm, 4 cm, and 8 cm.
