No, we cannot cross the speed of light.
But their are some exceptions, like the speed with which the universe is expanding is greater than the speed of light. ^_^

interesting question, but the answer is abstruse.
even than scientists says to cross the speed of light the one should have 0 mass, which is not possible yet by current technology. May be in future it becomes possible but our present theories don't support it.
