DO MARK AS BRAINLIEST

ANSWER:

Humans and insects are from a different genus. For cross-breeding to occur, the organisms need to be of the same genus. But this is not the case in insects and humans. So, cross-breeding between humans and insects cannot happen.

For example:

The scientific name of the mosquito that causes dengue is Aedes aegypti and the scientific name of humans is Homo Sapiens.

Here, clearly, the genus of the mosquito is AEDES and the genus of human is HOMO.

SO CROSS-BREEDING BETWEEN HUMANS ANS INSECTS DO NOT OCCUR
