Can we do this question by this method? This is question number 9 , excerise 10.2 (NCERT).

I am confused because this is a very short solution

THE correct method is

Consider the following diagram.

Here, it is given that AOB = COD i.e. they are equal angles.

Now, we will have to prove that the line segments AB and CD are equal i.e

AB=CD

Proof:

(as given in the question)
