The most common method of determining how much carbon and hydrogen are present in a compound is by what's called combustion analysis. When a compound is subjected to combustion analysis, it is burned in the presence of pure oxygen, which produces only carbon dioxide and water as the products.

⭐⭐⭐Heya friend !! ⭐⭐⭐

your answer ... ✍️✍️

We can estimate oxygen in an organic compound with the help of following formula ..... ⬇️⬇️⬇️

\large{\boxed{percentage \: of \: o \: = \frac{32 \times m\times 100\%}{88 \times M}}}

where,
M = mass of organic compound

m = mass of carbon dioxide evolved

hope helps !! ❤️❤️
