Can we give cold water sponge bath when baby has fever

No we cannot give cold water sponge bath to a baby when he/she has fever. Because In the terms of Medical, It says that when someone has fever and if we give them cold water bath them his/her fever level will increase because in fever Brain needs more Blood to keep itself warm and if anybody found taking cold water then there will be increase in the velocity of Blood to Brain to keep itself warm and also in this process there is high risk of Nerve bursting. Also there is a major role of Liver in Fever and if we take cold water then liver will also not function properly. And also Cold water makes him/her Shiver and if not cured then it will lead to one's life in danger.
