it is very difficult 5o grow plants in zero gravity as plants also show geotropism, but it was done in China by growing a cotton plant on moon

MrsBadger: but moon has gravity.
uday8023: but it is nothing compared to the gravity of earth
MrsBadger: still, gravity is there. The question asks for 0 gravity, that is in space. I don't think plants can grow there.

I don't think so. If there won't be gravity, then the plant will not stay rooted to soil. It won't get the required minerals. Other factors which help in growth of plant will not happen as well. So we cannot grow plants in zero gravity.
