can we make 110 and 140 triangles

TO SOLVE / PROVE

Triangle with given angles i.e. 110° and 140° is possible or not.

SOLVING / PROVING

As we know that sum of all the angles of a triangle is 180°.

If

let the third angle be x

110° + 140° + x = 180

according to angle sum property of triangles

then

x = 180° - 250°

which is not possible

And if we add 110 and 140 we will get 250° as a resultant which is much greater than the sum of the 3 angles

Therefore triangle with 110° and 140° as two of its angles is not possible
