we can't make fabric directly. fabrics are made up of fibres such as natural and synthetic. in natural there are cotton, jute, wool and silk. in synthetic there are polyester, nylon and acrylic. weather it is natural or synthetic all the fibres are treated to make fabrics.

eg- jute fibre is very rough , so it is treated to make it a little softer so that we can make fabrics and clothes from it.
