Thunder clouds are positive charged clouds, when, two positive charged cloud comes together, voltage rises (MVs), with cracking sound,air break down takes place, in zigzag formation toward earth. If the charged, could discharged,in some charge storage device, lightening disaster could be reduced and free electricity could be obtained. It may possible by collecting charge through lightening rod/panels put on tall building (like Empire state building), structure, trees(coconut,palm etc.) It is a good idea but yet, research is needed, to put in practice. H.G.Wells, have given many ideas, one of its ideas is, to advertised the company banners/logo on, charged cloud(like TV screen), which is also possible.
