Static inertia-The theory says object is at rest it continues to stay at rest so if there is a Book on a table then the book doesn't move unless there is a net force acting on it , this is known as static inertia.
Dynamic inertia- The second part of the theory says that a object is in motion it continues to be in motion
so If there is a ball in motion it continues to be in motion unless there is net force acting on it. eg - frictional force non contact force etc; Hence this is known as dynamic inertia.
