can we remove the squares in x^2+1/x^2​

Yes We can remove squares from the following questions by applying underroot to the question

Answer :

Squares can only be removed if they are compared with an integer.

Example -

x² + 1/x² = 2.

Adding 2 both sides -

x² + 1/x² + 2 = 2 + 2

⇒ (x + 1/x)² = 4

⇒ x + 1/x = 2
