can we see an object if a incident ray of light that strikes it's surface is not reflected back? why.

We can"t see our image on a cardboard because cardboard"s surface is rough and the reflection occurring on uneven surface is irregular reflection. So, the rays, after reflection, move to different directions.

No we can not. This is because we see objects as the light reflects from its surfaces and enters our retina. If the incident ray doesn’t reflect back from the object, it won’t enter out eyes, hence we won’t be able to see it.
