Sure I can think of life without police. America would either become self governing or it would sink into anarchy. Either we would be controlled by those who have the power and will to subjigate us, or we would live with mutual respect and form coalitions strong enough to protect those who agree on principles of right and wrong from those who would enslave us. We would most likely appoint those who are strong and willing to defend us from those who wish to harm us, and create rules regarding what are and are not appropriate behaviors in society.
