We can't use clinical thermometer to measure the temperature of a stove flame because it is basically used to measure the temperature of humans. A clinical thermometer has a temperature range of only 35ºC to 42°C.
or
We cannot use a thermometer to measure the temparature of a stove flame. The flame's temperature is very high. When it is brought near the bulb of the clinical thermometer the mercury inside the thermometer will rise very quickly resulting in the break of the glass of the thermometer and the mercury will come out of the thermometer.Mercury is a very poisnous substance.
