Can we use one cell in place of two in T. V. remotes?why?

yes we can use one cell in place of two but the circuit sholud be complete.you can put a metal paper pin or an almunium foil instead of another batery as it will complete the circuit.

      but we should not do so as the power needed for some specific button is insufficent and the battery will much faster when we place one intead of two
