Can we use thermoplastic to make handles of cooking utensils or cookwares ? Why or why not

No because when it is used in the handles of cooking utensils or cookwares it melts on cooking. Thermoplastics easily melts on heating . So , that we can't use thermoplastics for making handles of cookware
