No it is only for equilateral triangle.

use either 1/2 base×height Or

Area = √[S(S-a) (S-b)(S-c)]

But using trigonometric formulas, we can find every triangle's area.

Area of isosceles triangle= (base)(height)/2

We can also use this formula to find area of triangle =>

 \frac{1}{2}  \times base \times height

It's just a coincidence☺️
