Answer: Yes you can add or remove items from the menus in Microsoft Word.

Explanation: To do so click on the item you want to remove and drag it out of the toolbar or menu. If you want to add an item, go to the Commands tab, then got to Categories. Under Categories, click the category that best fits or describes the item you would like to add. Click the item you want to add, then drag it to the menu or toolbar.
