6. volume of cuboid = length * breadth * height
= 20 * 15 * 6 = 1800m3
1m3 = 1000 litres
18000m3 = 1800000litres
water required by the village
= 4000 * 150 = 600000litres per day
no of days it will last =
1800000 \div 600000 = 3
= 3 DAYS

9.water flowing in river in 1 hour = 2km=2000m
water flowing in river in 60 minutes = 2000m
water flowing in river in 1 minute = 2000/60m
= 100/3m

now, river is in the shape of cuboid so
length = 100/3m
breadth = 40m
height = 3m

therefore, volume of water falling in the sea in 1 minute = volume of the cuboid
= length * breadth * height
=
100 \div 3 \times 40 \times 3
100 \times 40
= 4000m3
