Given :-

  • AD & PS are medians.

  •  \rm \: </li><li> \frac{AB}{PQ}  =  \frac{BC}{QR}  =  \frac{AC}{PR}

To Prove :-

  • ΔABC ~ Δ PQR

Proof :-

▶In ΔABC and ΔPQR :

\rm \: </p><p> \frac{AB}{PQ} = \frac{BC}{QR} = \frac{AC}{PR} ( Given )

▶ ΔABC ~ ΔPQR ( From SSS similarty test of similar triangles )

Hence Proved !!

CORRECT QUESTION :

Given that – ∆ABC ~ ∆PQR ( whereas AD &PS are median) To prove that ➠ ∆ABC ~ ∆PQR

━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━

GIVEN :

  • ∆ABC ~ (sign of similarity) ∆PQR (whereas, here AD and PS is angle bisector. )

TO FIND :

  • To prove that – AB/PQ = BC/QR = AC/PR = AD/PS = ?

STEP-BY-STEP EXPLAINATION :

➠ Proof → ⦟ A = ⦟P

➠ ⦟A / 2 = ⦟P/2 and ⦟B = ⦟Q

➠ ∆ABD ~ (sign of similarity) ∆PQS [(By AA) similarity criteria]

➠ AB / PQ = BC / QR = AC/PR = AD/PS

Hence, ∆ABC ~ (similar) ∆PQR

Therefore Proved ✓
