Can You Attach A Webi Document In Mail?

The report that I want to schedule has hyperlinks to the sub report. My requirement is to schedule the report and send the output as the WebI report to the user's email inbox.

I am able to send the webI as an attachment with .wid extension. When I double click on the attachment from my inbox, the window pops up and asks to select a program to view the attachment.

I don't know which program to select and how it works.

In one of the forum I saw it is possible to send an URL link of the report to the user's email inbox and on clicking that URL link the WebI report opens.

I am not sure what to do to send an URL link when setting the parameters to schedule a report . Can any one please guide me on how to do this.
